Frequently Asked Questions on Dyslexia

1.  What should be my first steps in deciding if this program fits myself or my child?

I suggest you research this program to become more knowledgeable. I encourage you to purchase and read the book, The Gift of Dyslexia, by Ronald D. Davis. This alone, may help you to see if this program is the match. Secondly, www.dyslexia.com website offers numerous articles and facts to help you. Finally contact me, I'm as close as an E-mail or a phone call. I'd be happy to answer any questions you have with no obligation.

2.  Can I contact others who have taken a correction program from you?

Absolutely! I have a list of contacts who have either taken the program themselves or are parents of children who completed the program. From that list, I will share names and phone numbers of those of who are willing to share their experiences.

3.  What happens after the program is completed?

On the last day of the Davis Program, there is a 2-3 hour support training held for parents and / or tutors. This will help them to oversee the Symbol Mastery and exercises the student needs to complete once he or she is home

Also, up to three two-hour review sessions are available following the program. This is considered part of the program package.

4.  What reading and/or writing gains can I expect?

Most, if not all, clients see significant gains in reading ability by the week's end. Most clients are able to reach their chronological grade level or more.
